Hello Sisters! It’s time again for The Girl Behind the Blog vlog with Ashely and (this month) Megan. I have watched a lot of the GBTB videos, but somehow I don’t think I’ve ever seen one of Megan’s. That changed this month and she seems so sweet! And only lives 3 hours from me!
This month’s prompt is about Comfort Zones!
The Girl Behind The Blog- Comfort Zone Time limit: Vlogs should be 2-3 minutes long Introduce yourself and your blog What is your comfort zone/who makes you feel most comfortable? Is it hard for you to step outside your comfort zone? When’s the last time you stepped out of your comfort zone?
My husband noted that I should have mentioned my common security blankets when I am in a strange or unfortable situation. Those include my phone, a book, or a fuzzy blanket. If you are in a group of people you don’t know well or any sitiuation outside your comfort zone, you should try these on for security blankets…or not, since that’s kind of working against the point of “stepping out” of your comfort zone. LOL!
A few of my other “comfort zones” that I didn’t have time to mention are familiar places, small groups of people I know well, and writing. There have been times I have written letters to my husband or a close friend because I really wanted a point to come across correctly and I was afraid that I would mess it up if I tried to say it. That being said, I do LOVE to talk.
And, strangely enough, I am an extrovert…you can read more about this strange combination (shy-extrovert) in other blog posts of mine.
Anywho, I hope you enjoy the video and please make your own to link up or answer the prompt in the comments! I’d love to hear from you!
Hello Beautiful! It’s time for another Girl Behind the Blog Vlog link up! You get to hear me stumble over my words, correct myself mid thought, say “ummm” a dozen or so times, and avoid making eye contact. Unfortunately, I do all these things in real life, but am learning to be better at them. I’m simply happy to share a little piece of me (on video) with you.
This month’s prompt is travel! I’ve actually traveled more than I realize at first thought, and even been out of the country several times! However, I’ve never flown out of the country and most places in the country I haven’t flown either: just driven…which I suppose means you can guess where I’ve been and now don’t need to watch the video…
But please watch it anyways and I hope you enjoy it! Also go check out Ashely at Written on Her Heart and Annie at What She Saw who are this month’s hosts! I love them both and hope to someday meet them in person.
I had to clip out a TON of my ramblings to get it down to 4 minutes…yikes! Sorry that it’s so long. Watching all the vlogs is an amazing experience each time: hearing everyone’s accents, listening to the way they express themselves in person, noticing little mannerisms, and most of all, seeing who they are in their words and eyes. It’s a beautiful thing to have that ability.
Hello Beautiful! The Girl Behind the Blog is back! I’m so happy for Ashely, that she got to take few months off to spend more time focused on her new baby girl, but I am also excited for this link up to start again. I love hearing your voices and seeing your faces!
This month’s TGBTB is hosted by Ashely (surprise, surprise) and co-hosted by Nadine! Go check out their blogs for the full link up and to meet two truly beautiful women.
The prompt for this video is: The Girl Behind The Blog- Encouragement Time limit: Vlogs should be 2-3 minutes long
Introduce yourself and your blog What is something that encourages you in the blog world? What is something that always encourages you in real life? How do you go about encouraging the people you love?
I didn’t set a timer, so i went about a minute and a half over. Yikes! Sorry guys. I will set a timer next month. I hope you enjoy this, I certainly enjoyed making it!
Feel free to make and link up your own video or leave your answers to the prompt in the comments. I love getting to know you more!
It’s been a yearA year of growth in my life A year of study
An online bible study may not be for everyone, but it has been a huge blessing to me. I have studied the bible more over the past year than almost during any other time of my life. I hope you enjoy this vlog discussing my time with She Reads Truth.
For more information on the She Reads Truth Studies, click the link or email me with your questions.
Be blessed <3
P.S. It’s amazing how awkward vlogs are to do when you haven’t done one in awhile. Yikes! Sorry ladies.
Hello Lovlies! It’s that time already! Can you believe it? Time for this month’s Girl Behind the Blog.
The topic for this month is passions or hobbies that you don’t talk about on your blog very often. But I’ll just let the official prompt explain that.
The Girl Behind The Blog- Your Non-Blogging Passion
Time limit: Vlogs should be 2-3 minutes long
What topic could get you talking for hours, if someone asked you to share?
What are your hobbies and passions that you might not talk about often on your blog?
Is there a reason you shy away from sharing this passion on your blog?
This month’s co-host is an awesome and beautiful lady with an even more beautiful heart. Her name is Mackenzie and she blogs at Life of a Pint-Sized Mama. Seriously…Ashely (at Written on Her Heart) has great taste in co-hosts. Go check her out and then every single one of the ladies who have co-hosted this link up with her! =)
Thanks for watching! I’d love to hear your answers to the questions above and get to know you a bit. =)
