Last Monday night, at about 11:30, I finished up the final touches on the launch post for my Perspective Reset Devotional. Just a short three hours later, I woke up to go to the bathroom, and discovered that my water was breaking.
Almost 20 hours later, at 9:52 PM on August 11th, we welcomed our sweet baby boy into this world. What precious moments those were!

Our boy is one week old and I feel like we’re starting to figure out what our days sort of look like…as much as you can with a newborn. And like any parent will tell you, it’s going too fast already.

We are completely smitten with our baby boy. It’s been such a beautiful thing to watch how quickly God has knit our hearts together into this little family of three. I’m in awe of how He gives you everything you need just in time to care for your sweet precious babe when they arrive.
We are blessed and thankful.
Be blessed
James Neal is gorgeous and THAT HAIR!!! Oh Alesha I’m so happy for you. You will find the rhythm and learn the sway. Blessings to you, your hubs, and sweet baby James! xo
Thank you Susan! I feel like we’re starting to get a rhythm and feel of just how to respond to different things and who he is as a little person. It is such a joy!
What a beautiful sweetheart! Such big eyes! May God be with you and bless you as you nurture, figure out and adjust to your growing family!
Thank you! We are pretty smitten with him.
Congratulations!!
