“But He said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness.’”2 Corinthians 12:9a

And there are days when my heart is afraid and my mind is anxious.
And there are days when I’m hurt by people, hurt by life, hurt by circumstances.
And there are days when it all seems to hit from every side.

Sufficient

And grace.
Grace…
A gift from God.
A gift I don’t deserve.
A good gift.

And it’s not just a drop of grace here and there.
And it’s not a flood of grace that will drive down and under overwhelmed.

It’s sufficient grace.
It’s enough grace.
Not too much and not too little.
Enough
Enough

Sufficient2

“But He said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me. For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities. For when I am weak, then I am strong.”
2 Corinthians 12:9-10

He gives me enough grace.
Enough grace to not just endure weaknesses and insults and hardships and persecutions and calamities…enough grace to rejoice in them.
To boast in them.

Because He uses my weakness, my failures, my struggles.
He uses them to show His power.
He uses my weaknesses to show Himself strong.
He uses my weaknesses to show Himself strong.

“Strength that knows itself to be strength is actually weakness, but weakness that knows itself to be weakness is actually strength.”
Warren Wiersbe

Because pain and insults and hardship are promised.
But so is enough grace…sufficient grace.
His sufficient grace will transform my insufficiencies into His glory.

Sufficient grace
So there is no shame in my weaknesses, my scars, my persecutions, my calamities. Because my weaknesses…they are opportunities for His grace to redeem. My weaknesses, my insufficiencies are opportunities for Him to receive glory.

Be blessed
