“Breathe in His truth.”
In a world where truth is personal and right can’t be known…
In a world where moralism is either wrong or everything and you feel stuck in the middle…
In a world where truth is subjective and actions can always be justified…
In a world where blame is passed to the government, social constructs, peer pressure, parenting, diet, or any other than ones self…
In this world…what is truth?
How can we know truth?
And I can say He is truth, but my idea of Him and yours can be so very different.
So how do we know?
How can we decide?
Is there an absolute standard?
Yes.
In that night of agony beyond anything we could ever fathom, our Savior prayed for you and I…
“Sanctify them in the truth; your word is truth”
John 17:17
He prayed for us.
He prayed for us.
He prayed for us.
He prayed that God would make us holy through truth. And then He gave us the answer to that looming question of truth.
It’s God’s Word.
Truth is the Word of God.
The truth of who I am…
The truth of what my purpose is…
The truth of why I am here…
The truth of how I am to live…
The truth is in His Word.
The truth is His Word.
The whole of His word is truth.
Am I looking where He has said truth will be found? Am I seeking my sanctification where He prayed that I would? Am I reading His word? Am I breathing truth in deep and allowing it to change me?
Be blessed
