{Note: Comments are back up an working! =) So I’d love to chat with you again!}
Hello Lovelies. It’s the last day of 2012. Weird! Right?
I honestly haven’t spent much time reflecting on the past year. Maybe because I’m afraid it will make me sad…or maybe because there is just to much I’m looking forward to this year. Either way, I still wanted to do a quick recap of last year and tomorrow give you peek into what I’m looking forward to this year.
So without further ado:
Five Highlights from 2012:
- Youth Workers Conference at the Calvary Chapel Bible College in Murrieta, California – This time was one of the most relaxing and refreshing few days of my life. God really refreshed and restored me at that conference. Being there with my husband and two of our very dear friends was amazing.
;
- Our ONE YEAR WEDDING ANNIVERSARY – Honestly, the part about this that makes me happiest was not the long hours of driving and talking, or that fact that we discovered the awesomeness of Food Network, or even the 14 acres of beautiful flower gardens. It’s simply that fact that we had been married for 1 year. So happy.
- Mexico Missions Trip – As much as this trip stressed me out to think about ahead of time, it was a wonderful time. God taught me a lot and I throughly enjoyed the trip.
- Moving to Florida – 1, 2, and 3 – This was by far the hardest and yet best part of 2012. And I’m sure the reality that we now live in Florida will be one of the hardest, and one of the best parts of 2013 as well.
- Abigail’s Visit – Our first visitor from Washington! So, so fun! We spent 8 days just soaking in as much of each other and Florida as possible. It was wonderful!
So much has happened this past year! It amazes me to think back on it all. As I ponder it all, I am thankful. Thankful that no matter what, God is good. And thankful that through it all, I have been able to be with my husband serving Jesus. As long as we are side-by-side and Jesus is our goal, then I am content.
What are some highlights of YOUR 2012?
Be blessed
