Twenty Things About Me:{Because there is so much more to everyone}

1. I love Jesus and want my whole life to about Him.
2. A year ago, my husband and I moved from Washington state to Florida to help with a church plant. Following God’s call is the BEST decision you (or I) will ever make!
3. I LOVE the sun and the beach in Florida. Seriously, I could spend every day there.

1. Pink (aka. salmon/coral) is my favorite color…for pretty much anything.
2. Cooking is one of my favorite pastimes. I love experimenting, creating, and even watching people cook. (Food Network anyone?)
3. Baking is like therapy for me. It calms me, excites me, and is simply fun!
4. I love to write. It started with a tiny notebook full of silly poems in elementary school and now is journals, my blog, books that are still in my head, and kids ministry curriculum.

1. I got married a month and a half after my twentieth birthday to a nineteen year old man, who was also the only guy I’d ever dated. I am amazed and blessed to be his wife.
2. I love to read. I always have. Libraries literally make me giddy…with excitement!
3. I know quite a bit about technology, not because I’m good at it, but because my husband is very good at learning how to utilize technology to it’s fullest potential. And he teaches me a lot of things. (iPhone questions anyone?)

1. I’m am over 3/4 finished with my Elementary Education degree, but paused it to move to Florida. Maybe I’ll finish someday and become an “real teacher”.
2. Right now, I am a private tutor. So I get to work part time, in a one-on-one setting, and still do what I love!
3. I am the Kids Ministry Coordinator for Redemption Church. I knew God has put a calling on me to work with kids, but I never thought it would lead to this. I love it and am growing so much through this process!

1. I tend to get cold very easily. I am usually cold indoor in Florida because of all the over air conditioning. Whereas in Washington State, I was definitely cold outside…but often cold everywhere else too.
2. I am the oldest of six kids. There are 4 girls and 2 boys, and all of our names start with the letter “A”. (Alesha, Alison, Abigail, Anna, Anthony, and Adam)
3. I love games. Board games, card games, sports, group games…and even some video games! Mostly, I like games with people. It’s a great bonding time that I shared often with my family growing up.
4. On that note, I played basketball in high school. I was terrible, but I loved it.

1. I love to run! I try to run daily, but it ebs and flows with my life’s craziness and the weather.
2. I took 6 years of classical piano lessons and still play on our church worship team occasionally.
3. I like to laugh. I love my husband’s sense of humor and being silly with…we are silly so often together, and it is so good for our relationship!
